The new visual identity of the brand has been well accepted by sections within the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though Collages seem to be \u2018L\u2019air du temps\u2019 at the moment especially among big brands, the art form is very well suited for Pinterest. The image sharing platform has used the art form for its new visual identity.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Titled \u201cEndless Inspiration,\u201d the company\u2019s new brand identity will be rolled out in phases this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Made Thought, a design-focused creative house, was responsible for the project. The aim of the project was to put the focus on Pinners from across the world by transcending geography, culture, race and language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe made the Pinners \u2013 and their shifting spectrum of interests and dreams \u2013 the center stage of the brand. We collided and collaged different worlds into ever-evolving tableaux \u2013 to suggest the beauty and possibilities of inspiration,\u201d mentioned Made Thought on their official website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" autoplay controls src=\"https:\/\/designbro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pinterest-brand-identity.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption>Credit:https:\/\/www.madethought.com\/work\/pinterest<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The art direction appears to be fun and exciting, thanks to the use of varied color schemes rather than a fixed color palette. \u201cColors were to be derived not from a set palette, but dynamically, from an inspiration source which would radiate its personality all around it,\u201d mentioned Made Thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The creative agency also assigned font foundry Grilli Type to create a new font for Pinterest. Grilli Type can be credited for creating the Chirp font for Twitter which was introduced in January. The new sans-serif typeface is both creative and futuristic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Made Thought, \u201cA partnership with Grilli Type resulted in a specially drawn typeface, one that combines playful touches of humanity with a literal lean into the future \u2013 suggesting all the fun to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cIf someone\u2019s takeaway is inspiration, then we have succeeded,\u201d said Pinterest Design Director Andreas Helin in a statement. \u201cWe want people to walk away thinking, \u2018I just got really inspired,\u2019 or, \u2018It got me to think in new ways.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alistair Webb, Creative Director, Made Thought said, \u201cWe set out to give Pinterest a brand identity as fluid, personal and creative as its own platform \u2013 driven by meandering choices of the user and their ever-evolving dreams of what might be.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the launch of its new brand identity, Pinterest wishes to attract more people from around the world for \u201cinspiring a better future.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new visual identity primarily focuses on the \u2018endless inspiration\u2019 of Pinners.
