Established in 1809, Denby Company Pottery Ltd celebrated its bicentenary by launching special-edition packaging. The company teamed up with the UK-based design agency Acrobat to create special packaging designs for the event.
Denby Pottery, a British company involved with creating hand-crafted kitchenware, tableware, and serveware, including dishes and mugs, is among the top brands in its sector. Founded by William Drury-Lowe, the company is located in Denby, a village in Derbyshire.
Following its 200 years in the business, the pottery manufacturing company acquired Burleigh Pottery and Poole Pottery in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
Acrobat created a series of limited-edition packaging designs for the pottery company. The hand-crafted products are smartly packed in boxes that have been neatly designed. The black and gold boxes are designed with the silhouette of products the company manufactures. The boxes are labeled with bicentenary stickers that display the company name and the product inside.
“Denby celebrate their 200 year anniversary in 2009. We were privileged when asked to create the Bicentenary branding, POS and some very special packaging for this important event.”
