CF Napa Brand Design, a California-based creative agency, worked closely with William Heritage Winery to redesign the packaging of its Jersey Wine Collection. The wines include seasonal favorites: Sugar Plum, Sangria, and Caramel Apple.

The packaging needed to “maintain the brand’s signature brazenness” along with looking premium. CF Napa used saturated color palettes tailor-made for each variety of wine.

Jersey Red: Ripe and juicy with flavors of ripe raspberry and Concord jam.

Jersey White: Crisp and refreshing with flavors of peaches, apples, and sliced melon.

Jersey Peach: Bright and refreshing with flavors of candied peach, citrus, and honeysuckle.

Jersey Blue: Soft and deliciously fruity with flavors of violet candy and blueberry sorbet.

Jersey Sangria: A deliciously refreshing red wine blend with flavors of cherry and blackberry blended with orange and lemon-lime citrus.

Jersey Caramel Apple: Flavors of red delicious apple, cinnamon, golden pie crust, and melted caramel.

Jersey Sugar Plum: Candy-sweet and jam-packed with ripe plum flavor.”

The design agency also created unique illustrations for each flavor to maintain SKU differentiation.

The New Jersey wordmark was printed in a clean white to contrast the vibrant labels and make the brand name pop. A seal was developed to unify the wines within the family while being flexible enough to denote the special seasonality of limited-release wines. A white seal with ‘Premium Quality’ and ‘Award-Winning’ denoted the year-round wines while the seasonal sported a gold foil version with ‘Seasonal Selection’ and ‘Limited Release’.”
