This cinnamon flavored rum is a creation of the Shady Distillery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The craft distillery has a unique way of walking their own path & creating their own unique drinks recipes in their own edgy way. Similarly this unique characteristic is portrayed in this authentic design. The tattoo-inspired illustration was hand-drawn for this label.
This DesignBro customer already had a successful ice-cream business in Ireland.
They have a unique concept where ice flavorings are created on a cold plate & the ice is then instantly created. This translated, for the first time, their concept to a packaging. The Friesian cow was re-illustrated & the local Irish coastline was hand-illustrated by the DesignBro designer to clearly show the origins of the brand.
Good Earth Good Energy
This tea-based energy drink, owned by Tata Consumer Products, was one of our Pro Services customers.
We helped translate the existing Good Earth brand to a completely new, guayusa-based energy drink, that provides a positive and fully natural energy boost, without all of the additives that competing energy drinks have. From a design perspective, this meant we had to highlight the energy, while still being fully transparent about the ingredients.
A somewhat difficult topic, and definitely controversial for a limited edition theme. The Shady distillery has never shied away from either.
The Fort-Lauderdale, Florida based craft distillery decided to do exactly that. Commenting on the political developments, and knowing that the election was going to be close, and likely contested, they made a comment on it by launching this limited edition ahead of the elections. Giving both sides something to calm the nerves, or drown their sorrows (responsibly!).
This redesign of the Loveau (pronounced: LUV-OH) Sparkling Water brand brought an update to the existing brand. While continuing to draw from the ‘South of France’ Mediterranean feeling, it dialed down the flavor-expectation, more in-line with the gently, and completely sugar-free ‘diabetic approved’ drink it is. Also the new paper box replaced the shrink wrap, making the brand more environmentally friendly, as well as more premium in the process.
Besides having grown up in the design Industry, Christiaan has advised some of the world’s largest companies on their branding & packaging designs. Has been the resident judge for design awards, and has spoken at numerous global design & marketing events.
