Trasso Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling has been a dream of mine since I was a child. I have been a lifelong competitor that developed his own hybrid style merging Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling. With over 500 matches and 2x world medals I will be opening a Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling school in New Jersey in the next few months where I will teach and instruct private lessons and group classes to kids, teens, and adults. Jiu Jitsu is a form of martial arts that focuses heavily on the grappling aspect (on the ground) where you control your opponent and submit them with chokes, leg locks, arm locks etc. Wrestling is more geared towards takedowns but I will be integrating that into my Jiu Jitsu classes since it compliments it. This is a topic that not many school focus on at all. I am not only delivering a niche product to my audience but the competition is fairly low. Obviously students will sign up to learn the above, but more importantly, my future staff and I will also be role models to younger kids and part of the community. I am starting a clothing line by the name of “Tulagol”. It’s an urban wear for men that will start out with t-shirts and hats for startup and work my way into other articles forming future collections. This brand was inspired by the support team I’ve been fortunate to have in my life throughout the years that helped me to be confident in who I’ve become. I credit those people because without me knowing, I was able to learn something from each person whether intentional or not and make it my own while discovering my identity. Clothes have ALWAYS been a part of who I am and it helped me to express that to the world when I didn’t have the words or courage to out loud. I chose to share a thought below that represents the brand. The mission is to ALWAYS look the part. Opportunities may present themselves at any given moment, so being ready and having the confidence to take on any challenge is the key. Styles do vary, but to know that two people who are cut from different cloths can form a chemistry that can change the world or shape each other’s life.
