Calendly, a cloud-based platform which allows users an easy way to set up meetings without the inconvenience caused due to “back-and-forth emails and phone calls,” recently introduced its new logo.
Designed by Pentagram (https://www.pentagram.com/work/calendly), the new Calendly logo reflects “its intelligent design, improved workflows and incredible ease of use.”
“The engaging, expressive and versatile” logo features a hexagon inside the letter “C.” The new look is bold and simple and reflects how Calendly keeps everything neat and in order by reducing the usual difficulties associated with setting up an online meeting.
“For too long, the symbol of Calendly was a simple C, suspended in a light grey box that resembled a calendar. After eight years and hundreds of millions of scheduled meetings later, our customers have led us to what our core value is: Making it easy for our people to connect by eliminating friction in the process,” said Tope Awotona, CEO and Founder, Calendly.
She further added that she loved the design because it symbolized people coming together to create something unique.
Apart from the new brand mark and the new wordmark, Calendly is introducing new features for enterprise customers. The brand which is responsible for scheduling more than 15 million meetings a month also allows users to integrate with important apps like Zoom, Slack and GoToMeeting.
Janine Pelosi, Zoom CMO, said, “The Calendly integration is one of our most popular because of how easy it makes scheduling millions of Zoom meetings for our customers each month.”
Now, enterprise customers can embed both Calendly and Zoom into their customer-facing workflows to enhance their video communication experiences with greater control and security,” she further added.
Despite all the refreshing updates, the social media has gone completely berserk about how the new Calendly logo appears. Reportedly designed for a whopping $1.5 million, the new Calendly logo, according to social networking sites, appears like a “bird’s eye view” of a toilet.
