Dollar Bank Unveils New Logo Design

With assets over $10.3 billion and operations across 81 locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia, Dollar Bank unveiled its new logo Thursday to attract the next generation of customers.

One of the oldest financial institutions in the U.S. has been providing savings advice and mortgage guidance to its customers since its inception in 1855. The 165-year-old financial institution wants to target new and younger customers through its rebranding efforts along with reflecting its evolution.

“We’re redefining next-generation banking and how we collaborate with customers on their financial wellbeing,” said James J. McQuade, President and CEO. “This rebranding effort was the result of an extensive look at our valued, established customers as well as our newer, younger customers. We redesigned our brand with a more modern look, reflecting what Dollar Bank means to customers, employees, and the communities we serve today.”

The new logo which highlights the “Do” in the Dollar Bank and the new tagline “Let’s get you there” will appear at all Dollar Bank locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia starting this week.

The financial institution’s rebranding campaign consists of print, broadcast, online and social media. The campaign also highlights the bank’s varied group of customers engaged in starting a business or buying a home among other endeavors.

According to a Cleveland.com report, a Dollar Bank spokesperson informed that the bank will continue to work and invest in helpful causes when it comes to fostering equity and inclusion. From helping people with affordable banking and credit to helping almost 3,500 families get a home, Dollar Bank has always been at the forefront of causes that aims to uplift people.

“And what that does is that gets them to our homebuyer program, where we teach about credit, we teach about banking, mortgages,” the Dollar Bank spokesperson said. “It’s a 1-on-1 counseling program which gets the participants ready to buy a home.”

“Our extensive research shows that younger customers in particular value the guidance and help they receive at Dollar Bank. Whether it’s advice about savings, buying a home or starting a new business, Dollar Bank employees go above and beyond to help customers on their path to financial well-being,” said McQuade.

In an effort to make their website more effective, responsive and intuitive, Dollar Bank is rebuilding their website which will be ready for launch in May. The new website promises to include in depth information regarding financial education and resources for small businesses.
