Cristiano Ronaldo Exhibits New Jeep 4xe Logo Along With His Juventus Teammates

Jeep, one of the most recognized brands in the world and owned by the US-based carmaker Fiat Chrysler, has ratified its association with the iconic Italian football club Juventus ahead of the new season which begins today.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates from Juventus appeared for a video shoot wearing the club’s new jersey which has Jeep’s 4xe logo imprinted on them. 4xe is the name given to Jeep’s line of plug-in hybrid electric automobiles.

Recently unveiled, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid has two electric motors along with 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The Wrangler 4xe is capable of delivering 25 miles of near silence along with zero-emissions. According to the automobile makers, the plug-in hybrid is the most eco-friendly off-road vehicle.

“Our Jeep 4xe vehicles will be the most efficient, responsible and capable that the brand has ever created,” said Christian Meunier, Global President of Jeep.

“We are committed to make Jeep the greenest SUV brand. The electrification of the Jeep lineup will allow commuters to travel solely on electric power, delivering an efficient and fun on-road experience and offering an ability to enjoy even more Jeep capability off-road in nearly complete silence.”

With 637 Nm of torque and 375 hp of power, the Wrangler 4xe is truly a beast on the road. The electric Jeep offers a 17 kWh battery pack along with 11.4 kWh batteries for Compass and Renegade plug-in hybrids.

Football king Cristiano Ronaldo and his Juventus teammates participated in a video shoot to showcase their new jersey with the new “Jeep 4xe” emblem. Ronaldo and his teammates answered several questions while they posed in front of the Wrangler 4xe.

Seven is an important number for the Jeep brand and sits on the front grill of the SUV. When asked about how he chose the number “7” on his jersey and what it meant to him, Ronaldo replied, “It’s a very long story with a lot of details, but I won’t go into details. When I arrived in Manchester, I wanted the number 28. But my coach, during the time Sir Alex Ferguson, told me to stay with the 7. Since then, this has become my favorite number. It was a very emblematic number in the club up to that time and has always accompanied me until now. Therefore, right now it’s my favorite number.”
