The amazing Kia Telluride is the newest model to get the automobile giant’s redesigned logo along with many other upgrades for the 2022 model-year update.
The new badge is placed above the Telluride script on the tailgate and in the center grille, revealed Kia Wednesday. Kia’s new badge can also be seen on the center caps of the wheel along with the steering wheel.
The old oval logo was replaced by the new and improved insignia in January this year. The new minimalist logo is based on “symmetry,” rhythm” and “rising” and looks like a “handwritten stamp of approval.” With all the changes made to the logo, it certainly appears better than its older counterpart.
Apart from the new logo, the 2022 Telluride gets a black finish for the center grille across its model lineup. Replacing the old 8-inch touchscreen is the new SX’s 10.3-inch unit along with Freeway Driving Assistant and automatic local weather control management. The new upgrades will be available as standards in the bottom LX and midrange S trim levels. Every Telluride model will now be equipped with a smart cruise control-curve.
An article published on Kia’s official website states, “The hot-selling Telluride, with year-on-year sales up 68 percent, maintains its bold style and adds the new Kia badging and slightly redesigned radiator grille. Inside, Kia’s award winning SUV adds a larger 10.25-ich navigation display, fully automatic temperature control and highway driving assist to the LX and S trims, as well as navigation Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve to all trims.”

Despite all the upgraded features, the price hike does not seem too bad for this 2022 beast. The LX model now starts at $34,015 which includes $1,225 for vacation spots. The model is only $600 costlier than its 2021 counterpart. The S model is priced at $36,515 with a price hike of $700. Similarly, the EX and SX are priced at $39,015 and $43,915, respectively. Both the models are only $200 costlier than the 2021 editions.
The top model, SX Prestige, is priced at $48,115 which is $100 cheaper than the 2021 edition.
The 2022 edition of Telluride is with Kia dealers across the US and will be available for test drive soon.
